Find your fit — and your future. **Summary of the role:** We are looking for an accomplished Senior Engineer (Full Stack) with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React.js to design scalable enterprise applications. We are looking for a hands-on technical leader who can guide engineering excellence. The leader will contribute to architectural decisions, mentor team members, and collaborate with teams. The goal is to deliver secure, high-quality software solutions. The engineer will use AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity while ensuring engineering best practices and code quality. **About the role:** Technical Capability * Develop enterprise-grade full-stack applications. * Guide technical design discussions and contribute to application architecture, scalability, and technology roadmaps. * Identify technical risks, dependencies, and architectural bottlenecks, and recommend appropriate solutions. * Promote engineering best practices including code quality, maintainability, security, performance, and observability. * Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Software Development * Design scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. * Build responsive, reusable, and accessible frontend applications using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks. * Design and implement RESTful APIs and system integrations following industry standards. * Develop secure, maintainable, and well-tested software using object-oriented design principles and design patterns. * Improve applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and high availability. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and infrastructure. Engineering Excellence * Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and release planning activities. * Perform peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development guidelines. * Implement unit, integration, and automated testing to maintain high code quality. * Improve engineering practices, developer productivity, and software delivery processes. * Contribute to technical documentation, architecture documentation, and knowledge repositories. DevOps & Cloud * Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. * Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. * ​Deploy, monitor, and support applications hosted on Azure or GCP. * Ensure operational readiness through logging, monitoring and production support. * Support incident investigation, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution. Security & Compliance * Implement secure coding practices and ensure applications comply with organisational security standards. * Identify and fix application vulnerabilities and technical debt. * Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaboration * Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and partners to deliver outcomes. * Translate functional and non-functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. * Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and project status with partners. AI-Assisted Engineering * Use GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar AI development tools to accelerate software development. * Create prompts for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and automation. * Validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability. * Identify opportunities to integrate AI-assisted automation into engineering workflows. * Contribute to AI-enabled application features using LLM APIs and assistants where applicable. **About you:** * 7+ years of overall IT industry experience * Backend: Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, SQL & NoSQL Databases * Frontend: React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Redux / Context API * DevOps & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins / GitHub Actions, Azure or GCP, Git * Engineering Practices: Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, API Design, Unit & Integration Testing, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, Secure Coding Practices * Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI coding assistants. * Create prompts for software development tasks. * Experience validating AI-generated code for quality, security, and maintainability. * Understanding of responsible AI practices including privacy, security, compliance, and ethics. * Familiarity with integrating LLMs, AI services, or intelligent assistants into enterprise applications. * Event-Driven Architecture * GraphQL * Prometheus, Grafana * Distributed Systems * Performance Tuning * Messaging Platforms (Kafka, GCP Pub/Sub) **Benefits:** We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
