**Job Title:** Senior Engineer, Industrial Engineering **Job Description:** **The Role:** * Entegris Yonezawa Plant is seeking Senior Industrial Engineer, Yonezawa Facility to join our team. * We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to lead and support continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in * Supporting related functions such as production team, Process Engineering team in driving continuous improvement activities with respect to yield, capacity, reliability, quality, productivity, energy, cost effectiveness and optimizing production processes. * Working with related function teams to build and sustain safe, reliable and efficient operation of the process involving membrane, Liquid filter, Gas filter, injection molding components, Dispense Pump. **In this role you will:** * Lead and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. * Lead and facilitate annual cost saving activities across plant organization * Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions. * Design and optimize factory layouts and workflows. * Develop and standardize work procedures and provide training to operators. * Support process design and implementation during the introduction of new equipment. * Monitor and improve KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD). * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic projects. * Support Continuous Improvement team on various activities and trainings * Work with Product Management team and production team on capacity planning. **Traits we believe make a strong candidate:** * Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment. * Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. * Proficiency in industrial engineering tools such as time studies and line balancing. * Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (TOEIC score >500). **Preferred:** * Experience working in global manufacturing environments. * Project management experience. * Working experience in Semiconductor or Pharmaceutical industry * Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel VBA or Power BI. * Experience Kaizen activities based on Toyota Production System * Six sigma Black Belt or Grenn Belt **Your success will be measured by:** * Tenacity to drive projects completion in a timely manner * Professionalism, integrity and high degree of accountability * Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels and functional groups within the organization * Ability to leverage technical knowledge and tools to drive continuous improvement
