Senior Engineering Manager - Digital Solutions Development

**Role Overview** We are seeking a modern, hands-on Engineering Manager who can lead high-performing software engineering teams in an increasingly AI-enabled development environment. This role extends beyond traditional people management and requires a strong blend of technical leadership, customer engagement, architectural guidance, and engineering execution. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, remain closely connected to hands-on development, and leverage AI-assisted development practices to accelerate innovation, improve productivity, and deliver customer-centric solutions at speed. **Key Responsibilities** **Technical Leadership** * Provide technical direction and architectural guidance for enterprise software products and platforms. * Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices, security standards, and design principles. * Guide teams on application architecture, design patterns, and technology selection. * Troubleshoot and support resolution of complex technical issues when required. * Drive adoption of modern software engineering methodologies and AI-assisted development practices. **Engineering Delivery** * Lead the end-to-end delivery of software features and enhancements. * Accelerate product delivery through automation, developer productivity tools, and AI-enabled engineering workflows. * Foster a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. **Customer & Stakeholder Engagement** * Engage directly with customers, business stakeholders, and product management teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas and demonstrate product capabilities. * Present technical solutions, product demonstrations, and roadmap updates to internal and external stakeholders **Team Leadership** * Build, mentor, and develop engineering talent. * Establish a culture of accountability, learning, collaboration, and innovation. * Coach engineers on technical growth, modern development practices, and problem-solving approaches. * Support performance management, succession planning, and team development initiatives **AI-First Engineering Culture** * Champion the adoption of AI-assisted software development tools and practices. * Identify opportunities to automate routine engineering tasks and improve delivery efficiency. * Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate them into engineering strategies where appropriate. **TECH STACK** **Angular 17+ | .NET 8 / C# | Azure | SQL Server / PostgreSQL** **REST / GraphQL APIs | GitHub Actions / CI-CD | AI Dev Tools | Docker / Kubernetes** **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline. * 10+ years of software engineering experience with progressive leadership responsibilities. * Proven experience leading software development teams in enterprise environments. * Strong hands-on expertise in modern web application development. * Experience managing full software development lifecycle activities * Strong expertise in Angular for front-end application development. * Strong understanding of modern web architecture and design patterns. * Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring development teams. * Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. * Experience with cloud-native and scalable application architectures. * Experience with .NET / ASP.NET Core application development. * Experience building enterprise SaaS products and digital platforms. * Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering productivity platforms. * Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines. * Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). **Desired Leadership Competencies** * Technical credibility with engineering teams. * Customer-focused mindset. * Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution. * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. * Innovation mindset with a passion for continuous learning. * Ability to drive change and adopt emerging technologies. **Additional Evaluation Criteria** Candidates demonstrating the following will be strongly preferred: * Active GitHub profile showcasing personal projects or technical contributions. * Open-source community participation. * Stack Overflow contributions or technical thought leadership. * Technical blogs, conference speaking engagements, or community involvement. * Evidence of continuous learning and experimentation with emerging AI technologies.
