Senior Financial Analyst – Global Distribution

Find your fit — and your future. **Summary of the role:** This job will support Global Distribution Finance with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. This position will report to the Sr. Finance Manager Global Distribution and work closely with members of the finance and accounting teams as well as cross-functional business partners. **About the role:** * Monthly / Quarterly / Year End Close for LSE, and monitor SAMEA and Greater China closing results during closing week. * Assist on monthly closing activities, ensure correct cost accruals, perform actual vs. forecast / plan variance analysis. * Own Monthly Actual Reporting, Ops volume and KPI consolidation and analysis for LSE, SAMEA and Greater China * Update the Monthly Global D&L Report * Prepare Quarterly / Year End Reporting, including quarter-specific reviews * Manage Quarterly Forecast Update / AFP for SAMEA and Greater China, including post-forecast analysis and follow up * Support D&L projects across SAMEA and Greater China * Support the development of timely, accurate, and detailed budgets and forecasts for operating expenses and capital projects in alignment with key functional team members. * Partner with key stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and management against targets including month-end close activities and variance analysis. * Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations. * Strong collaboration with business partners to monitor results and provide data and analysis with focus on key financial metrics. * Apply business knowledge to ad hoc analysis to help drive/influence business decisions. * Support ad hoc requests and analysis as needed **About you:** We are looking for a colleague with 10+ years’ experience in controlling FP&A and business analysis and with strong communication skills. It is important that he / she holds a Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a relevant field (economic, business administration, accounting or financial orientation) or that he/she has equivalent professional experience. Knowledge in FMCG and / or Logistic sector is an asset. * Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, forecasting and budget management. * Knowledge on US GAAP is a plus. * Able to quickly analyze and understand complex issues and quickly see interconnections. * Strong organizational skills: high attention to detail, consistent follow through, own results and be part of the solution * Strong MS Office and Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI and/or PowerPivot is a plus, and interested in report & process automization, experience with Hyperion Essbase and ERP (SAP a plus) * Demonstrate problem solving ability, able to manage strict deadlines and resistant to stress * Strong written and verbal communication in English **Benefits:** We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
