Senior Hardware Validation Engineer

**Hardware Validation Engineer** NXP is seeking HW Validation Engineer for silicon validation both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of Automotive MCU products. You will be responsible for the functional validation and ensuring functionality, performance, stress and stability through comprehensive validation. **Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:** * Validation planning – Drive Develop and implement detailed validation test-plan and develop validation methodologies/infrastructure to achieve the coverage * Test development – Develop test-cases, test environment and automation scripts using Python. Use various HW and SW tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, traffic generators and analyzers. * Collaboration – Work closely with design, DV, Analog and Firmware teams to debug, root-cause and resolve any issues that may arise during validation * Documentation and reporting – Document test-plans, test results, validation coverage reports. * Automation – Develop various scripts, web-based tools to automate validation tests as well as collecting reports and diagnostics data **Minimum Required Qualifications** * B.Tech./M.Tech. Electronics/Computer Engineering * 5+ years of experience in silicon validation and performed roles in SOCs, mixed signal/digital ICs. * Hands on experience with debug of interfaces like communication peripherals, memory interfaces and system level validation testing. Expertise with pre-silicon platform, C, script-based test automation (Python) and strong scripting skills in general.
