Senior Manager - Legal & Statutory Compliance

**Job Description – Legal Department | Ashirvad by Aliaxis** Job Title: Senior Manager (8–10 Years Experience) Location: Bengaluru Ashirvad by Aliaxis is seeking a dynamic legal professional with 8-10 years of in-house experience to join our growing legal team in Bengaluru. The person would be reporting to the Head of Legal. **Key Responsibilities** 1\. Litigation & Dispute Management * Lead and manage complex and high-value litigation matters across forums. * Handle intellectual property disputes, commercial disputes, and civil litigation. * Manage consumer complaints, regulatory notices, and related litigation. * Coordinate with external counsel, prepare litigation strategies, and review pleadings and submissions. 2\. Regulatory & Operational Advisory * Provide legal advisory support on factory and warehouse operations and regulatory compliance. * Develop and maintain in-house subject matter expertise on Legal Metrology. 3\. Real Estate & Due Diligence * Conduct land due diligence, title verification, and risk analysis. * Draft, review, and negotiate lease deeds, leave & license agreements, and related real estate documentation. * Identify legal risks in property transactions and recommend mitigation strategies. 4\. Contracts & Commercial Advisory * Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, service agreements, and business arrangements. * Provide legal support to procurement, operations, sales, and other internal teams. * Standardize contract templates and improve contracting processes. 5\. Cross-Functional Legal Support * Provide practical legal advice to business stakeholders on operational and strategic issues. * Assist leadership in decision-making by presenting legally sound, commercially viable solutions. * Support internal policy development and compliance initiatives. Qualifications * LL.B. degree from a recognized university. * 8–10 years of legal experience (law firm and/or in-house). Skills & Competencies * Proven experience handling complex litigation independently. * Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and regulatory law. * Experience advising on operational legal matters and compliance frameworks. * Excellent drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
