**Overview:**
**Sentara Neurology Specialists** are seeking to **hire** a **Senior Certified Medical Assistant.**
**Position Location:** Norfolk, VA
**Position Status:** Full-Time, Days
**Overview**
Perform patient care related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluation, and as delegated or assigned by and/or under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Perform administrative duties, as appropriate.
**Education**
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
**Certification**
Must have one of the following Certifications:
* Certified Medical Assistant
* Registered Medical Assistant
* Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
* Certified EMT (EMT-B, AEMT)
* BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
**Experience**
* Patient Care experience of 3 years required.
