Senior Principal Analog Application Engineer for Custom Electromagnetic Flows

Focus is on RFIC, RF module and multichip module design space. * Helping customers adopt and proliferate our systems solutions including heterogeneous integration and electromagnetic and thermal analysis * Consulting with customers to understand their flow requirements and creating solutions that best meet their needs * Conducting technical presentations, technical training, and product demonstrations, including development of customized presentations * Supporting technical evaluations and benchmarks * Collaborating with Sales Management to identify and prioritize opportunities, and to assist in developing winning sales strategies * Working with Cadence Engineering and Marketing to communicate requirements and drive resolution of issues Required Experience/Skills: * BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering * Minimum 10 years of practical experience with Cadence custom schematic and layout tools is required * Must possess a working knowledge of electromagnetic solvers and analog simulation * CAD experience in setting up Cadence tools is desirable * Experience in parasitic extraction flows is a plus * Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, planning, and presentation skills are essential * Ability to work independently and productively in a fast paced and dynamic environment _The annual salary range for California is $123,200 to $228,800. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
