Senior Program Manager Long Term Planning

This is a high-visibility role that communicates directly with Director and VP leadership, connecting Finance, Business teams, and WW senior leadership through structured planning cycles and ad-hoc strategic initiatives. You'll have opportunities and resources to develop AI fluency at your own pace, with continuous learning built into the culture.Key job responsibilitiesStrategic Planning CyclesSPS (Strategic Planning Session): Lead coordination of inputs, narrative development, and deliverables for the annual strategic planning session; facilitate workshops and brainstorms to generate bold ideasOP1 (3-Year Forward Plan): Drive the Operational Plan 1 cycle end-to-end — aligning Finance and Business teams on long-range targets, investment asks, and network strategyOP2 (Annual/Monthly Plan): Coordinate the Operational Plan 2 process, ensuring monthly granularity for the year ahead is aligned across stakeholdersQxG (Quarterly Guidance): Manage quarterly guidance cycles, bridging Finance forecasts with operational reality for leadership alignmentBusiness Reporting & CommunicationOwn and deliver executive-level business result reporting including MBR (Monthly Business Review) and QBR (Quarterly Business Review)Develop clear narratives connecting operational performance to strategic goals for Director/VP and WW senior leadership audiencesSpecial Missions & Strategic InitiativesExecute high-priority assignments from Director/VP — including workshops, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional deep divesGenerate and structure "big ideas" for incorporation into SPS, OP1, and OP2 planning cyclesAt Amazon, you'll work alongside the latest AI and GenAI tools that are increasingly woven into how teams operate: from AI-powered capabilities that accelerate decision-making, to Generative AI that helps you focus on work that truly matters. Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of program or project management experience- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)- English: Intermediate (able to attend internal meetings, able to negotiate internally) Preferred Qualifications: - 2+ years of supply chain experience- Experience working cross functionally with non-tech teams- MBAOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
