Senior Radiologic Technologist - St Robert Family Medicine

**Find your calling at Mercy!** =============================== The Senior Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, upholding high-quality imaging standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures and findings. Responsibilities for this role also include serving as a resource and acting as a lead while leadership is unavailable. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for providing optimal care. **Position Details:** ===================== **Minimum Qualifications:** * **Education:** Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours. * **Experience**: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelors degree program * **Certification/Registration:** American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Radiography (ARRT(R)); Basic Life Support (BLS). * **Licensure:** State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Capability to make informed decisions regarding imaging procedures, patient care, and team management. * Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, such as performing imaging procedures while supervising staff. * Ability to lead and motivate a team * Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills. * Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to adjust as needed. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. * Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. * Pursue continued ongoing learning and professional development to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology. **Physical Requirements:** * Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. * Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. * Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. **Why Mercy?** ============== From day one, Mercy offers outstanding benefits - including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, tuition support, and matched retirement plans for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.
