Senior Solutions Engineer

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at makepath, you will join us in empowering the world’s leading companies to unearth what’s hiding in their geospatial data. We are looking for a software engineer who wants to transition (or has already transitioned) to Sales and Client Relations. You will: \- Work with our exceptional team of software developers, project managers and designers. \- Develop a strong technical understanding of the work we do. \- Connect with prospective clients who need our services to gain and maintain an ongoing competitive edge. ### It would be best if you have/are: * Experience with Python-focused data science and data analysis. * A strong background working with PyData tools. * Ability and desire to do consultative selling and architecture reviews. * Experience preparing and delivering technical content through presentations and tutorials. * Experience in DevOps, solution architecting and technical documentation. * Familiar with open source tools for GIS/geospatial applications. * Experience creating customer-facing resources and technical assets for discovery, qualification and validation of prospective clients. * Experience creating and contributing to open source software. ### Ideal Education Background Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar degree. ### About Us If you want to learn more about working with us, we wrote a blog post titled: Why Work at makepath? makepath is a Spatial Data Science and AI firm that specializes in using and building Open Source tools.
