Senior Specialist Direct Commodity Management

**Job Title:** Sr. Specialist Direct Commodity Management **Job Description:** **The Role:**   Entegris is growing and looking for a strong **Commodity Manager, Direct Commodity Management** to join our Plastic Fabrication Team supporting Direct Procurement. If you are a motivated individual interested in solving complex problems within the semiconductor supply chain, this role may be a fit for you!   **What You’ll Do:**   * Help shape commodity strategies and drive / execute sourcing decisions in the Plastic Fabrications or Packaging category;  * Lead cost saving efforts within the assigned commodity;  * Enabling continuity of supply  * Become a strong ambassador for the sourcing organization, develop relationships with key Entegris stakeholders, and facilitate engagements that position organization for long term success;   * Develop strong relationships with suppliers’ technical teams to facilitate a deep understanding of the technology roadmaps and capabilities to support Entegris product requirements;  * Assess technology/business gaps in supplier performance and implement appropriate continuous improvement activities;   * Partner with Entegris product development teams to lead the outsource manufacturing sourcing activities that enable business growth;   * Own, negotiate and manage commercial/technical supply chain to support Entegris business needs;    * Negotiate contracts with critical suppliers to provide support to APS and MS divisions.   * Support sourcing, cost saving and supplier development efforts across the BU’s**.**   **What We Seek:**   * A team player as well as a self starter  * Leadership and motivation characteristics    * Proficiency in establishing relationships with key business and technology partners to assure alignment and successful outcomes   * Timely identification and efficient execution of key supplier projects and continuous improvement initiatives   * Competency in positioning team to implement a supply base that can fully support the successful launch of new products  * Identification and implementation of new supplier management elements to enhance the Global Procurement organization    * The capacity to leverage key suppliers to support Entegris growth and profitability goals    **Requirements:**   * BS or MS in engineering, supply chain or related;   * Understand total cost of ownership models;   * A leader with a strong technical background in part fabrication with the ability to effectively motivate teams to achieve collective success;    * An astute capability to recognize the needs and motivations of individuals, and the capability to develop and nurture a wide array of internal and external relationships;    * The capability to quickly understand complex engagements, identify creative business solutions, and drive successful interactions with outside partners;   * A dedicated technology inclination for learning, collaborating, and continuous improvement;   * Demonstrated effective negotiation skills and communication capabilities, and the ability to persuade suppliers to efficiently support the long term, profitable growth of Entegris;   * Strong plastic fabrication fundamentals, with the ability to apply his/her knowledge to current and emerging semiconductor manufacturing needs.  * Professional proficiency in English and Japanese * Additional professional proficiency in Korean advantageous
