With 2200+ employees and continued investments over 25 years in India, ZEISS’ success story in India is continuing at a rapid pace.  Further information at [ZEISS India](https://www.zeiss.co.in/corporate/home.html). **Roles & Responsibilities** * Responsibility for implementing and operating the supported solutions within the DevOps team * Ensuring implementation that stays close to the standard in order to avoid technical debt and make optimal use of platform enhancements * Developing high-quality, sustainable solutions with a forward-looking view across the entire product lifecycle * Responsibility for the security of the products and solutions to be supported * Close collaboration across teams and products with other ServiceNow product teams * Active contribution as a central part of the DevOps product team, including the integration of connected products and systems * Use AI technologies to fulfill role responsibilities, improve development, automate tasks, and enhance efficiency and quality * Explore, evaluate, and empower the adoption of new AI technologies within the product team and the broader ServiceNow platform * Implementation of enterprise-grade ServiceNow ITOM solutions (Visibility, Health, Event Management) * Configuration (event ingestion, correlation, alerting, workflows) * Integration with monitoring tools, cloud platforms, and external data sources * Improve CMDB data quality, discovery patterns, and service mapping accuracy * Aligning ITOM with HAM and SAM for asset transparency **Education & Work Experience** * Completed a degree in computer science. * 5+ years of professional experience and proven success as a ServiceNow Application Specialist / Developer. * Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of ITOM (Visibility, Health, Event Management), HAM, and SAM  * Proven experience in Event Management implementation projects  * Solid experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping concepts  * Sound knowledge of JavaScript development, with a focus on object-oriented programming and a solid understanding of class structures, class inheritance, and software design principles.  * In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis.  * Solid experience in designing and implementing integrations (REST/SOAP/PowerShell).  * Proven in-depth experience in managing ServiceNow implementation projects and integrating external systems using various integration technologies.  * Experience working in agile structures and implementing agile and hybrid projects, complemented by strong teamwork skills and goal orientation.  * Basic knowledge of AI technologies and their practical application.  * Basic understanding of AI ServiceNow platform capabilities (NowAssist).  * Experience as a full-stack developer is helpful but not required.  * ITIL Foundation level and project management certification are advantageous.  **Nice to Have** * ServiceNow certifications (CIS-Discovery, CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM) * AIOps and observability tools experience * Knowledge of data-driven architecture Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Saptarshi Chowdhury
