Service Technician

**TITLE- Project Engineer (CWR)** **Location – Karwar** **WD No:** **WD30273125** **What You Will Do** * Lead end-to-end execution of **retrofits, AMC, and service activities** for AC & Refrigeration, HVAC, and Fire Systems in **Karwar Yard**. * Act as the **Single Point of Contact** for customer escalations. * Prepare and share **weekly progress reports** with the Project Manager. * Ensure all orders are executed in a **commercially effective** manner. * Manage service teams and subcontractors; allocate resources and monitor progress for **timely completion**. * Maintain **timely and effective communication** with customers regarding status, delays, and payments. * Ensure **Health and Safety compliance** for all site teams. **How You Will Do It** * Understand **contractual obligations /scope** and develop detailed execution plans. * Collaborate with the Project Manager to identify gaps and implement solutions to meet customer requirements. * Interpret customers’ needs and plan activities to **exceed expectations**. * Identify training needs and facilitate **skill development** within the team. **What We Look For** * **Qualification:** B.E./Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * **Experience:** 10–12 years in service/project execution on **Naval & Marine ships**. * **Technical Knowledge:** AC Plants, Air Handling Units, Heat Exchangers, Ventilation Fans, and other HVAC components. **Skills** * Strong **leadership and interpersonal** abilities. * Excellent **communication and problem-solving** skills. * Ability to **manage time and prioritize tasks** effectively. **Preferred** * **Indian Navy Artificers** with hands-on experience in AC/HVAC/Fire systems.
