Bring your fresh perspective, develop your strengths, break out your mold, and find a career that fits your dreams with us. **Click on the link below to learn what our employees have to say about Evonik:** [https](https://careers.evonik.com/en/about/meet-the-team/)[://careers.evonik.com/en/about/meet-the-team/](https://careers.evonik.com/en/about/meet-the-team/) _**RESPONSIBILTIES**_ * _Operate 5-axis and 4 Spindle CNC machines_ * _Effectively handle, thermoform, bond, and shape ROHACELL® rigid cellular plastic foam cores_ * _Follow production schedule to machine ROHACELL® Shaped cores_ * _Record time and material consumption in fabrication logs_ * _Comply with and support safety and environmental requirements as set forth by plant standards and external guidelines_ * _Maintain a part numbering and serialization system for various shaped parts and programs_ * _Communicate with internal technical, quality, sales and marketing contacts_ * _Read and understand customer furnished drawings and specifications, especially from the aerospace and automotive industry_ * _Navigate Microsoft Windows based e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet programs_ * _Work with handheld measurement tools to thousandths of an inch such as scales, digital calipers and micrometers in addition to performing mathematical calculations on calculators and being able to perform metric conversions_ * _Inspect cores with a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) to ensure compliance with customer specified drawings and specifications_ * _Understanding of ITAR projects_ * _Ensures shapes department follows AS9100 standards_ * _Maintain cleanliness of CNC area and other work areas_ _**REQUIREMENTS**_ * _High School diploma or equivalent required_ * _A.S. or technical certification preferred_ * _Strong computer skills (Windows, MS Office, MS Excel)_ * _Multi Axis CNC experience is preferred_ * _Coordinate Measuring Machine equipment familiarization preferred_ * _Forklift certification or experience preferred_ * _Extensive knowledge of SAP is preferred_ * _Experience with managing customer demands and production planning/scheduling_ * _Experience in the aerospace composites manufacturing industry_ * _Bonding of composite material_ * _AS9100 standard familiarization preferred_ * _Experience with woodworking tools to make standard and custom boxes, crates, skids, bracing fixtures, cradles, collars, and chocks for use in shipping_ * _Strong organization and communication skills are required to interface with other departments, including logistics, production and external parties_ _The Evonik Group adopts an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) approach.  Candidates are assessed based on their educational qualifications, experience, job competencies and potential and shall not be discriminated against on the basis of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, nationality, disability or sexual orientation or other classifications protected by local, state, or provincial regulations._ **Your Application**   To ensure that your application is proceeded as quickly as possible and to protect the environment, please apply online via our [careers portal](https://evonik.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/External_Careers).
