**Job summary:**
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an **Shipping Clerk** located in **Manchester, Connecticut.**
Reporting to the **Warehouse Supervisor,** the **Shipping Clerk** role involves…
**What a typical day looks like:**
* Move materials to storage areas and production lines using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
* Organize and maintain inventory, including recording material locations and conducting cycle counts.
* Prepare materials and products for shipment.
* Accurately document material movements and inventory transactions according to company procedures.
* Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Inspect and maintain material-handling equipment and report maintenance needs.
* Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations.
* Troubleshoot shipping issues and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
* Address and resolve issues related to shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
* Collaborate with production, warehouse, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
**The experience we’re looking to add to our team:**
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Additional education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical field is a plus.
* Previous warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or operations experience preferred.
* Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment preferred.
* Knowledge of inventory management systems, such as SAP, is preferred.
* Understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements, including cGMP environments, is a plus.
