Zenni Optical is looking for a Shipping Specialist to join our growing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient and accurate operation of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing and organizing inventory in the warehouse. Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (overtime may be required based on business volume, including day-of or week-of notice; overtime shifts are typically up to 1.5 hours and may include occasional Saturdays)Compensation: $20.50 - $23.00/hour Responsibilities: Receive and process incoming stock and materials Pick and fill orders from stock Handle customer returns Pack and ship orders in a timely manner Receive inbound containers of product Organize and maintain inventory in the Novato warehouse and facilities Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts Be flexible and willing to learn new tasks and procedures as required Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entire facility Follow all safety procedures and protocols Basic Qualifications: Comfortable to lift and move up to 50 pounds Comfortable to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions Comfortability working in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures Familiarity with basic computer skills, including MS Office and inventory management software Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training will be provided if necessary) Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Shipping experience in a warehouse environment Benefits Employee Paid - Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401K & matching) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Public Holidays) Training & Development Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health savings account Vision insurance Free snacks and beverages daily Referral program #LI-ONSITEAt Zenni Optical, people remain the heart of our mission, even as we embrace technology that moves us forward.
