**OUR TEAM**
In the Safety Team, we work closely with employees, managers, and operational teams to prevent workplace risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and continuously strengthen safety practices across the site.
**MISSION**
In this role, he/she/they will:
**1\. Ensure safety compliance and risk prevention**
Support the implementation of legal requirements, Michelin safety standards, and the site's HSE Management System while identifying risks and ensuring appropriate preventive actions are implemented.
**2\. Support safe operations and projects**
Partner with managers and operational teams to integrate safety into daily activities, projects, equipment changes, contractor activities, and emergency preparedness.
**3\. Build a sustainable safety culture**
Provide technical safety expertise, training, and coaching to employees and managers while promoting proactive safety behaviors and continuous improvement across the site.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Monitoring changes in occupational safety regulations and Michelin requirements and conducting compliance gap assessments
* Conducting workplace risk assessments and developing action plans to eliminate or control priority risks
* Supporting safety requirements for new projects, equipment installation, modifications, and commissioning
* Investigating accidents and near misses, performing root cause analysis, and following up on corrective and preventive actions
* Conducting workplace safety inspections and ensuring identified actions are effectively implemented
* Managing safety requirements for contractors, visitors, and other external personnel
* Supporting managers and operational teams in implementing shopfloor safety programs and initiatives
* Coordinating safety training, awareness activities, and competency development
* Maintaining accurate safety indicators, documentation, and regulatory reporting
**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
**Required**
* Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field
* 0 - 3 years of experience in occupational safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment; new graduates with relevant safety internship experience are welcome
* Knowledge of workplace hazard identification, risk assessment, risk control, and emergency response
* Understanding of Thai occupational safety regulations and basic international safety standards
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders
* Good communication in both Thai and English language
**Preferred**
* Internship or working experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Knowledge of safety management systems and continuous improvement practices
