This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Major Duties: - You will conduct Weapon Control Systems system integration efforts, including but not limited to developing software requirements and design, programming, integration, trouble shooting, and data analysis. - You will provide leadership through mentoring, supporting the project software development processes and collaborating across all functional areas within the organization and among external stakeholders - You will develop and write/code new (or modify existing) computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs following software assurance best practices. - You will analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. - You will confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design application and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces. - You will correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure desired results are produced. - You will modify and maintain existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
