Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One. **Job Description** ------------------- **Key Responsibilities**  **Engineering Leadership & Delivery**  * Own end-to-end delivery of technology solutions across **multiple engineering teams**, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps, timelines, and quality standards  * Oversee and guide **solution design, architecture decisions, and engineering practices** across teams  * Drive consistency in **coding standards, design patterns, and development processes**  * Ensure delivery of **scalable, secure, and high-performance applications**  * Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks  **People & Team Management**  * Directly manage **multiple engineering leads,** providing coaching, mentoring, and performance guidance. One Engineering lead typically manage one team.  * Build and scale high-performing engineering teams in the GCC environment  * Drive career growth, skill development, and succession planning across teams  * Foster a culture of **ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement**  * Manage resource planning, capacity allocation, and hiring in alignment with business needs  **Cross-Functional Collaboration**  * Partner with **Product, Architecture, Design, and global engineering teams** to deliver business value  * Translate business strategy into **technical execution plans and measurable outcomes**  * Work effectively in a **distributed/global team model**, ensuring seamless coordination with onshore stakeholders  **Process & Agile Excellence**  * Drive adoption of **Agile/Scrum practices** across teams in collaboration with Scrum Masters  * Improve team productivity through **metrics, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence practices**  * Promote **DevOps culture**, automation, and efficient CI/CD workflows  **Basic Qualifications**  * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience  * 15\+ years of relevant software engineering experience  * 5\+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including managing engineering leads  **Preferred Skills & Experience**  * Proven experience managing **multiple teams through Engineering Leads** in a matrix/global setup  * Strong experience working in **offshore/onshore delivery models**, preferably within Banking and Financial Services domain  * Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering **enterprise-grade large-scale, distributed, and high-availability systems**  * Coding experience in **UI/API development, microservices architecture, and system integration patterns in Spring Boot and React.** Native iOS, Android experience is nice to have.  * Understanding of **CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar platforms**  * Solid experience with **Agile methodologies and scaling Agile across multiple teams**  * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams  **Leadership Competencies**  * Ability to balance **technical depth with people leadership and delivery accountability**  * Strong decision-making skills with a focus on **business impact and engineering trade-offs**  * Proven ability to **influence without authority across global teams**  * High ownership mindset with focus on **execution excellence and predictable delivery**  If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our [disability accommodations for applicants](https://careers.usbank.com/global/en/disability-accommodations-for-applicants). **Posting may be closed earlier due to high volume of applicants.** This is an U.S. Bancorp India posting.
