**Ukiah Waste Solutions**, a **Waste Connections** company, is looking for a safety conscious **Sorter** to join our team in **Ukiah, CA!** **The schedule will be Monday-Friday 4:00AM working 8 to 10 hour days.** **Starting pay will be $21.00 per hour.** The pay range for this job category is $21-$23 per hour. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Sorting through material on the bottle line * Cleaning equipment. * Maintaining cleanliness of the area. * Heavy lifting throughout shift. * Traffic management. * Operating machinery and equipment. * Working outside in all weather conditions. * Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: * Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises. * Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. * Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
