This role sits in the US Parks organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. It works closely with all Disney Experience Brands and Products from across the company.  About The Role & Team: * The Edge Security Site Reliability Engineering team supports more than 4000 teams worldwide supporting new product launches, brands announcements, key events, and ongoing Edge Security * Our team is dispersed over multiple locations to allow for support of our worldwide partners and brands. * Work closely with our Global Information Security teams to ensure compliance with corporate standards, fulfilment of audit requests, and alignment of Disney Experiences brands to Disney Security standards. **What You'll Do:** * Participate in a DevSecOps culture to drive automated security solutions * Participate in launch readiness to ensure applications are secure prior to critical periods. * Assist with designing, building, and supporting products platforms * Collaborate with development teams to ensure the most secure and supportable outcome for our brands. * Security systems skills on the Akamai platform focusing on KONA Site Defender, WAF configurations, and Bot Manager Premier * Support platforms and bring knowledge on operational excellence and application stability, security, performance, operational excellence, and application stability. * You will be encouraged to stay up to date with emerging technologies. **Required Qualifications:** * Minimum 3 years of related work experience * Proficient in an agile environment * Experience with Akamai’s Bot Manager Premier, WAF, and KONA Site Definer products * Familiarity with commercial and open-source monitoring platforms * Demonstrated proficiency in Splunk and App-Dynamics * Skilled in code management, configuration, and deployment tools like GitHub * Experience with Ansible, Chef, Microservices, Restful APIs * Knowledgeable in Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Applying security best practices to application and infrastructure * Proficient in modern code-management practices for collaboration **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with high demand releases and brands * PCI audit and standards experience **Required Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience Job Posting Segment: DX Technology Job Posting Primary Business: Tech Delivery, Platforms, & Core Systems Primary Job Posting Category: Site/System Reliability Engineer Employment Type: Full time Primary City, State, Region, Postal Code: Bangalore, India Alternate City, State, Region, Postal Code: Date Posted: 2026-09-03
