Staff Engineer - UI UX Design

This verbiage will be used in job postings to draw in potential candidates._ **What you will do:** Technical Responsibilities: * Partner directly with Divisional Designers,  Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and executive stakeholders to advocate for user-centric solutions. * Take ambiguous, high-level business problems and translate them into intuitive, structured, and scalable design solutions. * Produce high-quality solutions through flow diagrams, wire frames, graphic designs, storyboards and site maps. * Develop and maintain reusable design systems and component libraries, ensuring visual and functional consistency across the entire product ecosystem and facilitating seamless design handoffs to development. * Partner with Divisional Designer and Usability engineer to steer high-level user research and usability testing, leveraging both qualitative feedback and quantitative product analytics to measure the impact of design decisions. * Mentor junior and mid-level designers, review their work to maintain high-quality standards, and champion a strong UX culture within the organization. **Minimum Qualifications (Required):** Bachelor or Master’s degree in communication design / Interaction design or equivalent. **Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):** * Bachelor or Master’s degree in communication design / Interaction design or equivalent. * 7 to 10 years of professional experience in UI/UX design. * Proficiency in Figma, Adobe illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop etc. * Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. * Ability to solve complex design problems and create user-friendly interfaces. * A keen eye for aesthetics and detail. * Strong portfolio showcasing your visual design problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Experience in Medical Device front-end development is a plus.
