Internal applicants i.e. current employees of St Vincent’s Hospital or an entity of SVHA are required to apply via their Workday account. **Selection Criteria:** * Possess, or be eligible to possess, specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); * Possess Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) in Anatomical Pathology, or equivalent as provided for in the Staff Specialist’s State Award; * Has demonstrated knowledge, skills and a high standard of practice across the broad areas of Anatomical Pathology including  dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology and cytopathology including gynaecological and non-gynaecological cytopathology; expertise in one or more of haematopathology, neuropathology and molecular pathology is an advantage; and a willingness to develop specific areas of interest as discussed with the head of Department and the subspeciality lead pathologists from time to time * Demonstrated ongoing contribution to the development, dissemination, and translation of new knowledge and practices commensurate with work in an academic teaching hospital environment; * Demonstrated knowledge, experience and commitment to the implementation of best practice and clinical service innovation; * Demonstrated ability to lead and work within a multidisciplinary environment with excellent interpersonal and communications skills; * Demonstrated commitment to teaching at specialty registrar, junior medical officer and undergraduate levels; * Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries.
