Statistical Analyst

**JOB DESCRIPTION:** -------------------- **Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:** The Statistical Analyst will review table mockups, CRFs and edit check specifications; work with biostatisticians and clinical staff to generate data tables, figures and listings; write and document programs; perform ad hoc programming; and perform QC tasks. **Major Responsibilities:** Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system. \- Perform QC of tables, presentations and reports. \- Review CRFs, edit check specifications and table mock-ups. \- Assist in creation of table mockups under supervision of statisticians or senior statistical analysts \- Generate or validate table programs \- Perform adhoc programming with assistance from statisticians or senior statistical analysts \- Provide data listing or summary to Data Management for data cleaning \- Document programs and specifications \- Demonstrate knowledge of SAS data steps, procedures and macros \- Be able to use and modify existing macros \- Provide accurate and timely answers to routine questions \- Communicate an understanding of basic clinical principles for his/her project and acts in accordance with those principles. \- Inform supervisor or manager on important issues in a timely manner. **Education / Experience Required:** BS or BA with 3-5 years or MS with 18 months of related work experience **Accountability / Scope:** Position interacts with customers from clinical research.
