The role aims to build strong operational and leadership capabilities, enabling the trainee to contribute to store profitability and transition into a departmental leadership role upon successful completion of the training program. Key Responsibilities: A. Customer Experience & Sales Excellence 1\. Support frontline teams in delivering a superior and consistent customer experience. 2\. Drive awareness of promotions, campaigns, and value propositions to support sales growth 3\. Actively contribute to creating a positive, engaging, and customer-centric shopping environment 4\. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across all in-store touchpoints B. Store Operations & Execution 1\. Support day-to-day store operations in alignment with company policies and operational standards 2\. Maintain high standards of store hygiene, layout, and visual merchandising as per planograms 3\. Monitor pricing accuracy and execution of promotions to ensure compliance and brand integrity 4\. Identify operational gaps and proactively escalate improvement opportunities 5\. Support POS operations to ensure smooth and accurate billing, ensure accurate daily cash reconciliation and timely bank deposits C. Inventory & Shrinkage Control 1\. Assist in end-to-end inventory processes including stock receipt, replenishment, and shelf availability 2\. Monitor stock levels to minimise out-of-stocks, over-stocking, and product write-offs 3\. Identify and report discrepancies, damages, and potential shrinkage risks 4\. Participate in inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock optimisation initiatives D. People & Leadership Development 1\. Collaborate with store teams to foster a high-performance and learning-driven culture 2\. Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative in assigned responsibilities 3\.
