Suite Attendant at Baxter Arena $15 HR + Tips

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** \-Pre-event suite set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suite. \-Verify and set-up all event orders for Suites                       \-Identify suite host and properly introduce yourself \-Take game day food and beverage orders and deliver to suite \-Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event \-Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils for suite and catering as needed \-Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite and catering areas throughout During Event   -Obtain signatures from the suite host on charges in a timely manner   -Clear all items from the suite and catering areas and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes \-Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions \-Check out with supervisor or manager **Qualifications** \-Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty \-Must follow all SAVOR… Omaha policies and procedures \-Must be present for all major events at the Arena **Education and/or Experience**         \-Minimum of one year experience in foodservice position required \-Previous supervisory experience preferred \-Must be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** \-Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards \-Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training \-Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues \-Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff, plan ahead and to prepare event plans simultaneously \-Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment **Physical Demands** \-Frequent walking for entire length of shift \-Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions \-Frequent lift, push or pull items and objects weighing up to 50 lbs **Working Conditions** \-Moderate to extreme exposure to noise during events \-May be exposed to vibrations caused by extreme noise during events \-May be exposed to strobe lights/lasers during events \-May be exposed to chemicals when cleaning locations **Hours of Work** **\-**Availability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
