**Position Details:**

**What You’ll Do**
------------------
* Coordinate patient placement and staff assignments to ensure safe, efficient care delivery
* Support and assist clinical staff with patient care and unit operations
* Serve as a clinical resource for nurses, patients, and families
* Step in as a staff nurse as needed based on patient acuity
* Supervise and direct clinical activities, responding to rapidly changing patient conditions
* Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams
* Participate in staff education, onboarding, and ongoing training
* Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
* Assist with departmental operations including staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization
* Help maintain inventory, equipment, and overall unit environment
* Represent the department on committees and organizational initiatives
**What You’ll Bring**

### **Required Qualifications**
* **Education:** Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
* **Licensure:** Active RN license (or compact license) meeting all state board requirements
* **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience
* **Certification:**
* BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
* Additional certifications may be required based on unit (e.g., ACLS, NRP, C-EFM, PALS, etc.)
### **Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous supervisor or leadership experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
* Experience in OB, emergency, or high-acuity settings
**Physical Requirements**
* Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly
* Prolonged standing and walking throughout shifts
* Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and movement required
