Supervisor Feed Mill

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing! _We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business._ **SUMMARY:**  The Feed Mill Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the team charged with the production of high-quality feed. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include, but are not limited to, the following: * Supervises the production activities of feed mill team members. * Oversees feed ingredient sampling. * Verifies weights on incoming ingredients and reports any discrepancies. * Helps staff and train mill team members. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** This position will have supervisory responsibility. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** * **Required** * High School Diploma * 3+ years of experience in feed mill operations in progressively responsible positions OR Bachelor’s Degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, or related field * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word * **Preferred** * Previous supervisory experience.  _George’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
