Job Summary ----------- **What a typical day looks like:** * _Responsible for customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts_ * _Primary materials interface for customer in new project start-up, as well as internal supply chain coordinator between sourcing, buyer, planner & PM_ * _Drive sourcing strategies in materials quotations. Present materials value-ads to customers, and influence customers to use Flex preferred suppliers_ * _Develop and lead implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans_ * _Track material financial performance, and initiate corrective actions when required_ * _Manage material cost review (local, regional and global). Lead supply base management effort to support customers’ needs such as cost reduction & supply chain solutions_ * _Exercise supervisory responsibilities, involving in basic management_ * _Develop proactive supply chain improvement plan-Lead time reduction, MOQ reduction, localization & alternative sourcing, replenishment program penetration_ **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * _College degree or above, majoring in Management or Economics is preferred, supplier management, material procurement or planning background_ * _5__+_ _years working experience in material function_ * _Be familiar with BAAN/ERP system_ * _Good communication and presentation in both English and Chinese._ * _Be good at using Microsoft office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint)_ **Here are a few of our preferred experiences:** * _Self-motivated and the ability to direct energy and commitment to achieve excellent results_ * _Able to work under conditions of heavy pressure and time constraint_ * _Result oriented for solving issues_ **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * Social Insurance * Life Insurance * PTO Job Category ------------ Global Procurement & Supply Chain Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
