We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** CPMC-California Pacific Med Center Van Ness **Position Overview:** Assists in preparing for and during surgery by performing routine and delegated duties according to standards and policies of the department and hospital to assure quality patient care. **Job Description**: **EDUCATION** * _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ * HS Diploma: High School or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience * Other: Completion of a formal accredited Operating Room Technician program **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE** * BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:** * Two (2) years scrubbing experience at CPMC required **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** * Basic knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and supplies. * Requires communication, organization and interpersonal skills. * Requires flexibility to accommodate emergencies as well as changing schedules and priorities.   **Job Shift:** Days **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** Rotating Weekends **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** Yes **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 32 **Employee Status:** Regular Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
