This position is responsible for participating and creating the state-of-the-art circuit simulation technologies and solutions. **Responsibilities** Serve as an R&D Software Engineer for SpectreFX, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of our circuit simulation technologies. Collaborate with global engineering teams to innovate and create state-of-the-art solutions for FastSPICE, and mixed-signal simulation. Analyze and evaluate product issues, providing productive recommendations within broad parameters. Analyze customers’ applications and propose implementation plans based on general objectives and knowledge of Cadence product architecture. **Position Requirements** * Strong software engineering background with excellent skills in **C/C++ development in a Unix/Linux environment**. * Proven ability to **quickly self-learn**, adapt, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technologies in a production environment. * Solid understanding of **data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization**. * Familiarity with **circuit simulation concepts** (SPICE, FastSPICE, RF, mixed-signal) or EDA tools is highly desirable. * Education: * **BS in CS/EE/Math/Physics** plus **2 years of experience** in C/C++ and EDA development, OR * **MS in CS/EE/Math/Physics**. * **Fresh graduates** with strong relevant backgrounds are welcome to apply. * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a global team environment. **We’re doing work that matters.
