Sweeper Operator

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Operate sweeper equipment to clean and maintain plant, yard, and roadway surfaces * Remove debris, dust, and material buildup to support safe and efficient operations * Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on sweeper equipment * Follow site safety procedures and report hazards or maintenance needs promptly * Support general site housekeeping and assist with other operational tasks as needed **What Are We Looking For** * Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work area * Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team * Solid communication skills and willingness to follow instructions and safety guidelines * Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level **What We Offer** * $25.87  per hour * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays * Eligible employees can earn up to a $1,250 performance-based retention bonus each quarter, paid quarterly based on achievement of established performance metrics.
