Systems Development Manager - Avp - Post Trade Systems

The team consists of specialized members with in-depth technology expertise to support the ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancements, and development of next-generation HKEX platforms. **Job Duties:** **Job Responsibilities:** * Responsible for system development and project implementation activities, including business requirement analysis, resource and vendor management, application development, and documentation. * Design and develop systems using modern technologies, such as cloud platforms. * Collaborate with teams across IT departments on various aspects of projects. * Provide production system support. * Lead and develop a group of software developers in Hong Kong and China, including Shenzhen. * Undertake any other assignments and projects as assigned by the supervisor. **Job Requirements:** * Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines. * Minimum 10 years of experience in software development, design, and production support for large-scale and/or mission-critical systems. * Minimum 5 years of experience in leading a team of software developers. * Solid knowledge of Linux, databases, CI/CD, and cloud technologies. * Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, and shell scripting. * Demonstrated skills in vendor management, vendor evaluation, and vendor system integration, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. * Experience in any of the following areas would be a distinct advantage: * React and modern front-end application development * Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture * API security standards and protocols, including OAuth 2.0 * Good analytical mindset, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently. * Proficiency in SDLC methodology and documentation. * Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical mindset and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. _HKEX is committed as an Equal Opportunity Employer.
