We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **Tax Accountant** to join our Finance team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, takes ownership of their work, and is eager to continue building their tax expertise in a supportive and high-performing environment. You'll work across a broad range of tax disciplines, partnering with stakeholders throughout Australia and New Zealand to help ensure Stryker meets its obligations while supporting smart business decision-making.

**What You'll Do**
* **Manage tax compliance obligations** – Support the timely and accurate delivery of tax filings, payments, and reporting requirements across Australia and New Zealand.
* **Support tax reporting and provision activities** – Prepare tax calculations, provisions, reconciliations, and supporting schedules that contribute to accurate financial reporting.
* **Partner with stakeholders** – Collaborate with Finance and business teams to understand activities and provide practical tax support and guidance.
* **Contribute to tax projects and advisory activities** – Support a range of direct and indirect tax initiatives, helping identify implications and opportunities across the business.
* **Support governance and risk management** – Assist with audits, controls, documentation, and compliance processes that strengthen our tax framework.
* **Drive continuous improvement** – Identify opportunities to improve processes, data quality, controls, and ways of working.
* **Build your technical capability** – Gain exposure to a broad range of tax matters while continuing to develop your professional knowledge and expertise.

**What You Bring**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in taxation, accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Experience supporting direct and/or indirect tax compliance activities.
* Experience preparing or supporting income tax, GST, BAS, fringe benefits tax, or payroll tax obligations.
* Exposure to transfer pricing, customs reporting, or tax governance activities.
