**Job Description:**
**Employees in this position are expected to work at least 5 hours per week.**
This roll will be responsible for instructing participants in the rules and techniques of gymnastics.
### Examples of Duties:
* Develops, promotes and coordinates lessons, instructional programs, and clinics.
* Instructs recreation classes as well as team instruction.
* Choreographs routines or classes.
* Monitors the progress and development of the athletes.
* Assists other organizations (schools, etc.) with lessons and teams.
* Maintains record keeping and other financial record for instructional program(s).
* Monitors the condition of equipment.
* Will require travel on weekends to team events.
* Applies skill progression to all recreation participants, spotting techniques and guidelines as outlined by USAG.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
### Basic Qualifications:
* Associate's degree (AA/AS) in a related field and 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to earn First Aid & CPR certifications within 6 months of hire.
* USA Gymnastics Safety Certification.
### Preferred Qualifications:
* Rec Trac software knowledge.
### Other Necessary Requirements:
* May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
