Team Lead Genai Platform

We are expanding our team and are seeking a Team Lead GenAI Platform for our headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. In this role you will own the KION GenAI Platform and its related applications and API services while leading a dedicated team. **We offer:** ============= * **A company with a bright future:** As a listed M-Dax company, we already employ more than 42,000 people in over 100 countries and are thus significantly driving the future of intralogistics while pursuing a clear sustainability strategy  * **Moving forward together:** Standardized and documented feedback process with international career opportunities and individual training opportunities * **Individual benefits:** Modern IT equipment (also for the home office) & mobile devices, Employee Assistance Program - holistic support program for individual crisis situations, "Deutschlandticket" or parking space, option to lease a company bike, exclusive benefits/discounts for employees * **Our basics:** flexible working hours, part-time models, option for flexible mobile working from home, attractive remuneration package, company pension scheme, canteen.  **Tasks and Qualifications:** ============================= **Your responsibilities:** * Overall responsibility for the KION GenAI Platform and its strategic roadmap, including budget planning. * Ensure a scalable, secure and cost‑efficient service operation using cloud‑native services. * Lead delivery of GenAI use cases from requirements gathering and service provisioning to implementation support and operation. * Ensure reliable platform operations, monitor performance and maintain Service Level Agreement compliance. * Drive continuous improvement of development, deployment and monitoring processes (DevOps / LLMOps / AgentOps). * Ensure secure operation of GenAI services (access control, logging, monitoring and incident management). * Implement and support global KION AI use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders. * Lead, coach and support the professional development of the global team of AI Engineers and platform experts. **What we are looking for:** * Master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering * Proven experience (7+ years) in AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI-related architecture/technology projects, preferably within a large enterprise environment * Profound understanding of current AI technologies (ML models, LLMs, vector databases, RAG methods, modern frameworks) * Experience in IT governance, product management, or AI-related application ownership * Strong understanding of AI/GenAI lifecycle, enterprise software processes, and governance best practices * Knowledge about AI project management, delivery, or technological evaluation as well as agile methodologies and DevOps practices * Experience in creating solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment * Structured, independent, and analytical way of working, as well as a high willingness to learn * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences * Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges * Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams * Very good knowledge of English, German is a plus. **Does this sound interesting?**  We look forward to receiving your online application!
