Job Description
Amazon's Last Mile ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence System) team is seeking a data-driven Business Analyst to support continuous improvement initiatives across the delivery network. The Business Analyst will be responsible for converting complex operational data into actionable insights, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesExtract, analyze, and model operational data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities across Last Mile delivery operationsDesign, build, and maintain reporting dashboards (QuickSight/Tableau) to track key performance indicators including CPS, FDPS, DNR Concessions, DOT, and Customer Rescue metricsSupport Network Reviews by developing input/output metric frameworks and highlighting areas of concern or opportunityPartner with Program Managers and Operations teams to quantify impact of improvement projects and track benefit realizationConduct deep-dive analyses on operational defects (bad scans, concessions, delivery failures) to support defect elimination programsTranslate business requirements into data models, reports, and visualizations that drive decision-making at station, zone, and network levelsDevelop automated reporting mechanisms to reduce manual effort and improve data accessibilityPresent data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders through well-structured narratives and documentsSupport ad-hoc data requests and exploratory analyses for cross-functional teamsMaintain data integrity and ensure accuracy of all reporting outputsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field2+ years of experience in a highly analytical role (business analysis, data analysis, or equivalent)3.Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation4.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, macros)A day in the lifeInteract with multiple stakeholders and get things done. Regular show of ownership and bias for action.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience- Bachelor's degree- Speak, write, and read fluently in English- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications- Experience with Excel
