**Position Title:** ------------------- Tech Aide PRN **Department:** --------------- Adult CT Scan **Job Description:** -------------------- **General Description:** The Imaging Care Associate PRN supports the Imaging team in providing excellent patient care. **Essential Responsibilities:** _Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position.  Inability to perform these responsibilities, with or without an accommodation, may result in disqualification from the position._  * Prepares patients for testing and/or procedures including patient positioning. * Transports patients as requested. * Responds to inquiries from patients and family members. * Collaborates with team members across OU Health to provide exceptional patient care. * Cleans, disinfects and organizes to provide a welcoming environment for patients. * Assists with scheduling and other clerical tasks. * Assists with data entry, patient records, documentation and filing. **General Responsibilities:** * Performs other duties as assigned. **Minimum Qualifications:** **Education:** High School Diploma or GED required. **Experience:** At least 1 year of patient care experience required. **License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required:** Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association required. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**   * Ability to provide exceptional service and care to patients. * Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the imaging/radiology discipline. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines and standards. * Ability to prioritize and complete clinical or non-clinical work assignments * Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations * Ability to work as part of a diverse team and communicate effectively with others. * Displays consistency and dependability by reporting to work as scheduled. * Ability to be sensitive to patients’ physical and psychological needs. * Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes. * Ability and desire to learn and grow in the Imaging profession. **Current OU Health Employees - Please click** [HERE](https://wd5.myworkday.com/oumedicine/login.htmld) **to login.** --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **OU Health is an equal opportunity employer.
