Technical Consultant - Java SQL

**Overview:** * Seeking a highly motivated Technical Consultant to join our Professional Services team. The ideal candidate will possess strong J**ava development and Oracle database** skills and be capable of understanding, enhancing, and troubleshooting enterprise applications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and effective communication skills to support implementation projects, customizations, integrations, and production issue resolution. **Scope:** * The successful candidate will work closely with consultants, developers, support teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring customer success and project objectives are achieved. **What you will do:** * Analyze, develop, modify, and support **Java**\-based enterprise applications. * Understand existing application architecture and debug complex technical issues. * Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, database objects, and integrations using Oracle databases. * Investigate production issues by analyzing application logs, database records, and system behavior. * Support implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and custom development activities. * Participate in design discussions and provide technical recommendations for customer solutions. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve application and integration issues. * Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and implementation guides. * Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers through meetings, emails, and written documentation. * Contribute to code reviews, testing, and quality assurance activities. * Assist in performance tuning, root cause analysis, and system optimization efforts. **What we are looking for:** * **4 - 5** years of experience in software development, implementation, or application support roles. * Strong hands-on experience in **Core Java** and o**bject-oriented programming** concepts. * Ability to read, understand, modify, and debug existing Java code. * Strong understanding of **Oracle Database, SQL** programming, and database concepts. * Experience developing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and performance issues. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. * Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, or similar technologies. * Understanding of **REST** APIs, web services, and integration concepts. * Familiarity with application servers and enterprise application architectures. * Experience with source control systems such as Git. * Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and log analysis. * Exposure to cloud-based applications and SaaS platforms. * Experience working in customer implementation or consulting environments. * Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities. * Ability to quickly understand existing codebases and application workflows. * Excellent customer-focused communication and stakeholder management skills. * Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. * Strong learning agility and willingness to work across multiple technologies. * Ability to manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment. **Our Values** If you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
