Job Summary ----------- .To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Technical Program Management Engineer** located in **Prai/Batu Kawan, Penang**. **What a typical day looks like:** * Partner with the Design & Engineering teams and commercial teams to drive the design, validation, and implementation of innovative and cost-effective product solutions of varying scope in order to meet customer requirements from development of conceptual prototypes and architecture thru the NPI phase. * Drive the execution of product development, contributing technical expertise to product development, coordinating the development of new technologies with technical program engineers, and ensuring program timing and budgets are met. * Translate customer’s technical needs and requirements to the NPI and CFT teams. * Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of inter-dependencies of such processes at the site. * Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives. * Lead program team, including regular team meetings and updates to management. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. * Typically requires 5 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related field. * Knowledge in SMT / Wave / Soldering / Assembly * Experience in coordinating with different departments to ensure smooth project transfer from R&D, Dongguan factory to Penang site. **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * Medical benefits, dental, vision * Life Insurance * Paid Time Off * Performance Bonus FA22 Job Category ------------ Design, Process & Technology Engineering Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
