**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead and develop NPD projects in EMEA in accordance with our development process on all technical aspects for design and development.
* Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
* Ability to lead tradeoff discussions and conversations around risk management with cross-functional teams.
* Drive design of project to meet market driven design guides and fulfill cost, timing, reliability, and manufacturing requirements.
* Analyze, evaluate and select from design execution alternatives to best meet specification objectives and implement designs into mass production.
* Accountable for technical elements of project execution including integration of complicated components and assemblies, material selection, packaging and safety, regulatory and standards compliance.
* Conduct design and safety reviews as needed to gain necessary approvals for product development phase progressions.
* Schedules, develops agendas, facilitates and documents project meetings. Tracks project schedule to ensure adherence to timelines.
* Regularly makes presentations of project status.
**Requirements:**
=================
* Bachelor's degree or further technical education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Experience in project management and product development
* Solid understanding of technical processes in Engineering like Product Development & technical documentation
* Ideally experienced in safety footwear industry
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken , another European language is of advantage
* Advanced knowledge in MS office application
* Extensive Knowledge in CAD system
* Willingness to travel as required for business (30% ca.)
