This position supports the preparation of gallery spaces and the execution of exhibition designs.  **Key Responsibilities** **•** Move artwork (various sizes and weights) and shipping crates **•** Assist with packing and unpacking artwork using museum best practices **•** Hang and install artwork using appropriate tools, equipment, and systems **•** Clean and prepare gallery spaces for exhibitions **•** Perform patching and painting of gallery walls **•** Assist with light carpentry, fabrication, and demolition work **•** Support implementation of exhibition display designs **•** Safely use ladders and equipment including vertical mast and scissor lifts  **Minimum Qualifications** High School diploma or GED 0 years of relevant experience required **Qualifications & Requirements** **•** Ability to follow direction and work safely as part of a team **•** Understanding of or willingness to learn museum art handling best practices **•** Experience with interior painting, shop equipment, and hand tools required **•** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs **•** Ability to safely work on ladders (6’–12’) and personnel lifts  **Position Details** **•** This is a recurring temporary position tied to the Wexner Center’s rotating exhibition schedule  Additional Information: ----------------------- **The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $15.15 - $19.79 per hour**.  The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc. Function: Library and Museum Subfunction: Exhibitions Band: Technical Level: 1 Location: --------- Wexner Center for the Arts (0386) Position Type: -------------- Temporary (Fixed Term) Scheduled Hours: ---------------- 40 **Shift:** ---------- Varying Shifts _**Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.  A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.**_ Thank you for your interest in positions at The Ohio State University and Wexner Medical Center.
