Therapy Aide- Prn

**Primary Purpose** Provides assistance to therapist and leadership to support staff to enhance the patient healing process, recovery and return to independence. **MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS** **Experience:** * Must have two years of experience in a rehabilitative or healthcare setting. **Equivalent Education and/or Experience** * May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute the experience requirements. **Certification/Registration/Licensure:** * Must have a current Heartsaver CPR course completion card within 90 days of hire and/or placement in job from one of the following: * American Heart Association * American Red Cross * Military Training Network. **Skills or Special Abilities:** * Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. * Must be able to utilize required software for assigned department. * Must be able to demonstrate patient valued/patient centered care. * Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill in meeting age related and handicapped patients' needs. * Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of treatment equipment. * Must be familiar with hospital environment.
