Trainee Manager Stores

This is a career path to become a store manager. o   **Sound Numeracy skills and knowledge of retail industry** o   **2- 3 years retail experience an added advantage** o   **Drivers Licence is essential** o   **Must be able to pass given assessments at the required level** o   **Must be successful in at least 2 competency based interviews** o   **Must be flexible and willing to be transferred between stores** o   **Must be willing to give authorization for a full credit and criminal check** o   **Must be Matriculated (attach certified copy to application) Must have a valid South African ID (attach copy to application)** o   **Must have a valid Driver’s license code 08 (attach certified copy of license)** o   **Ensure that hygiene, housekeeping and safe working standards are maintained (floor and back-up)** o   **Ensure that security procedures are adhered to** o   **Ensure that merchandise/display standards are adhered to** o   **Conduct regular quality checks, ensure that stock is rotated.** o   **Damaged/expired stock is removed Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages Check correct pricing e.g. labels** o   **Ensure that all administration is completed accurately and timeously** o   **Analyse, maintain and update relevant information/documentation, take required action when necessary** o   **Plan and implement sales promotions** o   **Approach and advise customers on the product, listen to customers’ requests, provide the required product or services.** o   **Monitor budgets and take required action** o   **Analyse profitability of department, make recommendations or take required actions** o   **Optimise stock levels e.g. always in stock, never overstocked through effective ordering** o   **Manage employees to ensure standards are maintained by competent, motivated employees** _If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!_ Discover who we are
