Transfer Station Laborer

**Les' Sanitary**, is seeking a **Transfer Station Laborer** in **Coos Bay, OR!** . **Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00am - ~2:30pm,** 40-50 hours per week. Drug and alcohol testing:  Subject to pre-employment drug testing and random selection drug and alcohol testing per Company policy. . **Driver's License Required: Must have a clean driving record.** **MUST PASS:** * **DOT drug screening** * **Criminal background check** * **Motor vehicle record screening** . **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:** The Utility position is the first point of contact for trucks coming onto our site, directing traffic and ensuring a safe working environment. This is a demanding role that requires focus while working outside in the elements. * Pressure washing carts and garbage trucks * Site cleanup/ litter pick-up * Helping and interacting with customers * Manual labor including landscaping/ weed eating * Greet and direct customers upon entry to transfer station * Calculate payments for customers * Input weight information into system for customer payments * Ensure incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material * Approaching all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner * Various other utility tasks as needed * Specific duties can change on the daily basis as operation needs change . **POSITION REQUIREMENTS:** * **Valid  Driver’s License with Clean driving record.** * **Pass Criminal Background Check, Drug panel Screening, and Motor Vehicle Report** * At least 2 years of work experience.  Preferably in a labor type position. * Experience operating equipment is a plus * Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift * Mechanical ability a plus. * The ability to continually lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout an 8-10 hr. shift. . **WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:** * Exposed to different weather year round. * Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. * Extensive physical activity.
