Transportation Supervisor

**City/State:** Mount Vernon, New York **Grant Funded:** No **Department:** MMV Admitting and Transport **Work Shift:** Day **Work Days:** MON-FRI **Scheduled Hours:** 10 AM-6:30 PM **Scheduled Daily Hours:** 7.5 HOURS **Pay Range:** $64,000.00-$80,000.00 **Job Summary** This position is responsible for managing the daily operations for inpatient transportation with in the hospital and administrative functions to assure accuracy and patient flow in accordance with hospital standards. **Responsibilities include:** * Assigns and completes follow-up with patient logistics messengers * Trains new staff on transport procedures * Monitors workflow to maintain standards of transport through out the hospital facility * Reviews, assists and addresses customer service complaints * Prepares and updates policies and procedures * Prepares Transport EPIC reports **Required Background:** * High School Diploma required. College degree preferred * Strong customer service and problem escalation/resolution in a similar environment * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Prior supervisory experience * Good computer skills   Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
