Travel Intern

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable student to join our team as a Travel Intern. This internship supports the Benefits team and the Leave of Absence team. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, remain organized, and have experience in a fast-paced work environment. The position reports to the Time and Leave Manager. **Essential Duties:** * Assist team members with travel related questions * Upload and review dependent documentation * Assist with travel bookings and confirming availability * Update travel webpage as needed **Job Qualifications and Competencies:** * Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program * Basic skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word * Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week * Ability to commute to Middletown, PA **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior work experience in an office environment * Prior experience with travel reservation systems * Strong verbal and written communication skills **Work Environment:** * Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment * Ability to work a flexible schedule, if needed * Non-exempt **Physical Requirements:** * Occasional lifting up to 25lbs The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required for this position.
