Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka FL 32712 * Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives. * Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation. * Other duties as assigned. * Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams. * Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** * Abdomen, Abdominal Doppler, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, Vascular, and Interventional Sonographic procedures * Ability to learn and master new tasks related to the computer and AGFA Pacs system * Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds * Ability to function independently with little or no supervision * Ability to read and write legibly in English and perform basic mathematics skills **Education:** * High School Grad or equivalent \[Required\] * Associate \[Preferred\] * Bachelor's \[Preferred\] **Work Experience:** * 2+ years experience in vascular sonography \[Preferred\] **Licenses and Certifications:** * Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer RDMS (AB) \[Required\] * Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with OB/GYN Spec (RDMS-OBGYN) \[Required\] * Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) \[Required\] **OR** Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography RT(VS)(ARRT) \[Required\] **OR** Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) \[Required\] * Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) \[Required\] **Physical Requirements:** (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements -[https://tinyurl.com/2vvwrzem](https://tinyurl.com/2vvwrzem) **Pay Range:** $28.97 - $53.88 **Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)** Certain positions are subject to **Florida Level 2 background screening**, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
