**Summary** **Job Description:** **Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist** **FULL TIME - DAYS** The Ultrasound department, also known as Sonography, specializes in imaging that uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of the body’s internal structures. Obstetric Ultrasound: Monitoring fetal development during pregnancy. Abdominal Ultrasound: Evaluating organs like the liver, kidneys, gallbladder, and pancreas. Cardiac Ultrasound (Echocardiography): Assessing heart function and detecting abnormalities. Vascular Ultrasound: Checking for blood clots, blockages, or circulation issues in veins and arteries. Musculoskeletal Ultrasound: Evaluating soft tissue injuries, joint abnormalities, and fluid collections. **Job Description:** An ultrasound technologist (also known as a diagnostic medical sonographer) plays a critical role in a hospital setting by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment.
